The new Porsche Design watch has been inspired by the legendary Porsche Design P’6750 World timer unveiled in 2007. It simultaneously shows the time in two different time zones. The second time zone display shows the watch’s wearer at a glance how late it is at home.
With the new P’6752 World Traveler, one can choose the home time from the 24 time zones of the world. To help the watch owner, the 24 time zones are engraved on the case-back of the timepiece. The second time zone is indicated by a hand with a red triangle at its tip with help of an inner 24-hour scale. The time itself is displayed on the outer 12-hour ring of the face. The date window is found at 3 o’clock.
The shot-blasted titanium case measures 42mm in diameter. If compared to the case of the P’6750 World timer, it is 3 mm smaller and 2mm flatter. The case-construction incorporates a screw-down crown and a non-reflective scratchproof sapphire glass. It is 50-meter water-resistant.
The new Porsche Design watch accommodates a self-winding movement – Eterna Caliber 3945A. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the 28-jewel movement provides a 68-hour power-reserve.
The new Porsche Design P’6752 World Traveler watch will be available to the public at the price of 5,950 Euro starting with the beginning of 2014.
